Myth #1 – If you host it, they will come!

Truth #1 – A well planned client appreciation event can yield great results. However, without the proper planning, communication, follow up and effort, your event may not be as successful as you want it to be. Many people believe that if they plan a fun or educational event, their clients must want to attend. Many make the mistake of just printing invitations and dropping them into the mailbox… or worse, they email the invitations and expect the inbox to burn up with attendees.

The truth is, without multiple forms of communication and multiple forms of follow up, you may not yield the highest return for your marketing dollars.
